Writing a screenplay starts with a solid idea or concept. You’ll want to develop your main characters, figure out their motivations, and establish the core conflict of your story. Once you have a clear idea of your narrative, break it down into a three-act structure: the setup, the confrontation, and the resolution. Each act should build tension and move the story forward, keeping the audience engaged. It's also important to study other screenplays to get a feel for proper formatting and pacing.
